Why This Role Exists ?
BANQR is extending its Cash365 product beyond Business Central into the broader Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem, including Finance & Supply Chain. This role exists to own the technical execution of that expansion.You will sit at the intersection of ERP engineering, financial logic, and embedded banking, building production-grade extensions and integrations that handle real-time payments, reconciliation, and treasury workflows across multiple systems.
This is not a maintenance role. It is a product engineering role focused on scale, correctness, and financial reliability.
Your Mission
Your mission is to design, build, and operate robust Dynamics 365 solutions that connect ERP systems with real-time banking infrastructure, ensuring accuracy, performance, and auditability across every financial workflow.Success in this role means:

What You Will Own (Key Responsibilities)
1. Business Central Development (AL)
You will own the development and evolution of BANQR’s Business Central extensions.- Design and build AL v2 extensions for production use
- Deeply understand and improve an existing financial codebase
- Develop and extend tables, pages, reports, and API pages
- Implement treasury-related functionality (bank statements, reconciliation, liquidity logic)
- Integrate Business Central with Cash365, Open Banking services, and banking APIs
- Debug complex financial flows and resolve production issues with precision
You will contribute to and extend functionality within Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain.
- Build features using X++, forms, tables, and data entities
- Develop integrations using OData, Data Management Framework, and Dataverse
- Implement batch jobs, automation logic, and treasury-related processes
- Ensure data consistency and financial correctness across modules
You will design and implement integration patterns across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Build integration flows using Dataverse anddual-write
- Develop services using Azure Functions and Logic Apps
- Implement REST-based integration patterns
- Design reconciliation pipelines between Business Central and Finance & Supply Chain
- Support data flows via Azure Data Lake whererequired
You will help shape the technical foundation of Cash365.
- Translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs
- Ensure clean architecture, performance, and maintainability
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Support performance tuning and system-level troubleshooting
Quality is not optional in financial software, you will own it.
- Write automated tests for all new features and fixes
- Build unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using the AL test framework
- Apply test-driven development where appropriate
- Create realistic test data for complex financial scenarios
- Maintain test coverage and enforce quality gates before release
You will support reliable delivery from development to production.
- Manage Business Central extension deployment across environments
- Work with version control, branching strategies, and release processes
- Troubleshoot deployment issues andoptimizebuild pipelines
- Collaborate closely with Azure DevOps workflows
You will operate as a trusted engineer within a lean team.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, and Management
- Provide realistic estimates and track delivery against commitments
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
- Ensure security, compliance, and auditability in all financial processes

- Cash365 functionality extended cleanly across Business Central and Finance & Supply Chain
- Stable, well-tested integrations running in production
- Reduced manual intervention in financial workflows
- High confidence from Product, Operations, and customers in system reliability
